Requirements
- 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, and purchasing (experience in China required).
- Experience with sourcing and managing perishable goods.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Experience with Alibaba preferred.
- Experience with international shipping preferred.
- Experience with 3PLs is a plus.
- Experience working with small remote teams is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work with Operations to identify procurement methods for materials.
- Research and liaise with prospective suppliers.
- Prepare proposals, request quotes, order samples, and negotiate terms.
- Ensure vendor and product quality assurance.
- Develop best practices for sourcing and managing perishables.
- Provide updates, analysis, and recommendations.
- Advise Operations on vendor management and compliance.
