- Strong familiarity with gaming culture, especially competitive or legacy franchises and their communities
- Deep understanding of platform best practices across TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and Reddit
- Experience working across social campaigns in entertainment or gaming
- Experience managing active communities and navigating fan conversations in real time
- Proven ability to balance planned content with reactive, trend-driven execution
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice quickly
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and quick turnarounds
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management of social channels with a focus on consistency, quality, and fan engagement
- Develop and maintain content calendars that reflect both planned beats and reactive, real-time moments
- Ideate and execute platform-native content that taps into action/gaming culture, trends, and community behavior
- Write sharp, voice-driven copy that reflects a distinct tone and resonates with a passionate fanbase
- Actively manage and engage with the community, including replies, comment moderation, and identifying opportunities for conversation and amplification
- Monitor social trends, gaming news, and competitive scenes to inform content and engagement strategies
- Partner cross-functionally with creative, strategy, and partnerships teams to bring campaigns to life
- Support live moments (announcements, drops, events) with real-time publishing and community engagement
- Track performance and contribute to reporting with actionable insights and optimizations
