Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience in a team environment
- Experience building distributed systems
- Strong expertise in the healthcare industry and FHIR standards
- Experience with Smart on FHIR standards
- API development experience using Java or Python
- Background as a Backend or Full-Stack engineer
- Understanding of web and mobile UI design best practices
- Strong communication and strategic thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Write and implement code
- Perform local testing to ensure acceptance criteria are met
- Write technical specifications for new functionality
- Review and provide feedback on pull requests
- Implement and test web design systems
- Collaborate with internal and external engineers
- Participate in agile sprint ceremonies (standups, refinements, retros, demos)
- Interface with clients to provide updates and propose solutions
