Interest in developing expertise in trade compliance, global logistics, and supply chain operations.
Experience supporting trade compliance or supply chain operations (preferred).
Familiarity with import/export processes, customs documentation, or ERP systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

Pre-screen import purchase orders to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and international import regulations and internal standards.
Validate accuracy of import data, including manufacturer details, country of origin, incoterms, transportation mode, carriers, and broker information.
Monitor import PO status, identify potential supply chain risks or delays, and proactively support issue resolution.
Collaborate with Accounts Payable, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing and customs clearance.
Maintain and analyze import reporting to identify variances and ensure timely corrective action.
Support supplier qualification processes, including documentation reviews, assessments, and improvement plans.
Manage supplier and vendor data setup and ongoing validation.
Contribute to trade compliance initiatives, reporting, training, and operational improvement projects.
Act as a subject matter support resource for trade compliance risks and process improvements.
