Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cloud security, infrastructure engineering, or related cybersecurity roles in SaaS environments
- Strong expertise in AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms, including identity management, logging, and security architecture design
- Deep understanding of networking, system security, and cloud-native architectures at scale
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Spacelift, or similar
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for automation and security analysis
- Experience with incident response processes, threat detection, and forensic investigation techniques
- Familiarity with query and analysis tools such as SQL, Splunk, or similar for security investigations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering, DevOps, and security teams
- Ability to operate effectively in remote-first, distributed engineering environments
- Security-first mindset with a strong balance between risk management, usability, and operational agility
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and other cloud/PaaS environments to ensure scalability, resilience, and compliance
- Partner with DevOps and Platform teams to embed security into every stage of the Infrastructure-as-Code lifecycle, including code reviews and configuration validation
- Lead cloud security operations including vulnerability management, incident response coordination, and remediation of high-severity issues
- Define and enforce security controls across cloud environments, ensuring consistent monitoring, governance, and risk mitigation
- Conduct threat modeling across systems and applications to ensure security and privacy are integrated by design
- Develop and implement strategies for detection, response, and recovery from security incidents affecting production systems
- Drive automation and security tooling improvements to reduce manual work and strengthen overall security posture
