Requirements
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer, with senior-level expertise in data architecture and pipeline development.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, including query optimization, performance tuning, and data modeling (relational and dimensional).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure (Microsoft Fabric) and AWS (Glue, Lambda, S3).
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development, including handling JSON and semi-structured data.
- Experience designing and maintaining Data Lake architectures, including layered structures (Landing, Raw, Trusted).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
- Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, including semantic modeling and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, ownership, and ability to work in complex, data-intensive environments.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and data flows to understand end-to-end processes and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines across cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Define and evolve data models (dimensional and relational), supporting analytics and BI consumption needs.
- Implement and optimize data ingestion and transformation processes using tools such as AWS, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and integrity across all stages of the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to enable efficient data consumption through Power BI and semantic models.
- Support integration between on-premise systems (e.g., Teradata) and cloud-based architectures.
- Contribute to best practices, standards, and continuous improvement of the data platform ecosystem.
