Requirements
- Strong experience in DataOps, Data Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation (GitHub Actions).
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript for backend development.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and scalable architectures.
- Experience building and maintaining high availability and observability platforms.
- Familiarity with data lakehouse concepts, data modeling, and modern data pipelines.
- Strong architectural thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation for the data platform using Infrastructure as Code.
- Manage and evolve the data platform’s services ensuring observability and reliability.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for infrastructure automation.
- Build and optimize backend services and APIs using Python and TypeScript.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, capacity, and usage.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and reusable data solutions.
- Define frameworks, engineering standards, and best practices.
- Mentor and support engineers to promote data engineering excellence.
