Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in product marketing, innovation, or brand management within CPG, ideally in food, nutrition, or infant/maternal health categories.
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and managing direct reports.
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept through commercialization using a stage-gate or similar process.
- Strong experience in building and executing product roadmaps balancing innovation and portfolio optimization.
- Expertise in product positioning, competitive analysis, and category insights tools such as Nielsen, Circana/IRI, or SPINS.
- Ability to develop and present financial models, ROI analysis, and data-driven business cases.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks in food or infant nutrition, including FDA labeling and claims compliance (strong plus).
- Strong executive communication skills with experience translating complex data into compelling narratives.
- Familiarity with co-manufacturing and supply chain considerations impacting product development.
- Strong leadership mindset with the ability to influence across multiple functions and levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end innovation and renovation strategy, identifying market opportunities and shaping the long-term product roadmap.
- Develop and manage product lifecycle strategies, ensuring existing offerings are optimized, refreshed, or repositioned based on market and consumer insights.
- Drive the ideation and validation of new products, including customer research, prototyping, and concept testing.
- Build business cases, financial models, and ROI analyses to support innovation and product development decisions.
- Define product positioning, messaging, claims, and differentiation strategies in collaboration with Brand and Commercial teams.
- Own product narratives and go-to-market briefs that guide consistent storytelling across channels.
- Support sales enablement through the development of materials, presentations, and product storytelling tools.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Brand, Operations, Commercial, and Customer Experience teams.
- Act as a strategic liaison to executive leadership, presenting innovation strategy and performance outcomes.
- Establish KPIs to measure product performance, adoption, and revenue impact.
- Manage external product partnerships to ensure alignment on shared goals and execution efficiency.
