Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Backend Engineering, Software Development, or related roles.
- Strong professional experience with Python and Django in production environments.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.
- Strong understanding of web application architecture and backend development best practices.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or similar.
- Familiarity with Git workflows and collaborative software development practices.
- Understanding of full-stack applications, including exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend/backend integrations.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a distributed environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Python and Django.
- Build and support robust RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments.
- Work across the application stack, collaborating on integrations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows.
