Requirements

  • 3+ years of specialty sales experience within pharmaceutical/biotech
  • 2+ years of Rheumatology sales experience (highly preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Successful track record of performance across customer-facing and strategic roles
  • Experience with pull through and total office call
  • Launch experience preferred
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment
  • Effective communication and change agility skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of time

Responsibilities

  • Engage Rheumatology customers within assigned geographical territory to grow brand-share and revenue.
  • Execute strategy and tactics within the Rheumatology therapeutic area to generate product utilization.
  • Develop relationships with Rheumatology experts, nurses, office staff, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Conduct clinical presentations for HCPs in academic centers, hospitals, and group practices.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and Thought Leader Liaisons.
  • Provide market insights and field feedback to the home office.
  • Plan and sponsor local promotional speaker programs.
  • Manage geographic budget and identify key business opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in implementation of brand-specific strategies.
  • Train and launch Kevzara for polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) indication.
