Requirements
- 3+ years of specialty sales experience within pharmaceutical/biotech
- 2+ years of Rheumatology sales experience (highly preferred)
- Bachelor's degree
- Successful track record of performance across customer-facing and strategic roles
- Experience with pull through and total office call
- Launch experience preferred
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment
- Effective communication and change agility skills
- Strong business acumen
- Project management skills
- Ability to travel up to 75% of time
Responsibilities
- Engage Rheumatology customers within assigned geographical territory to grow brand-share and revenue.
- Execute strategy and tactics within the Rheumatology therapeutic area to generate product utilization.
- Develop relationships with Rheumatology experts, nurses, office staff, and patient advocacy groups.
- Conduct clinical presentations for HCPs in academic centers, hospitals, and group practices.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and Thought Leader Liaisons.
- Provide market insights and field feedback to the home office.
- Plan and sponsor local promotional speaker programs.
- Manage geographic budget and identify key business opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementation of brand-specific strategies.
- Train and launch Kevzara for polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) indication.
