Requirements
- Advanced degree or equivalent professional experience in a quantitative field
- 4+ years of professional experience deploying AI/ML-based applications to production
- Technical proficiency with large language models, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, RAG or agentic workflows
- Technical proficiency in Python including Pytest, Pydantic and FastAPI
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with tools such as Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes, LangChain, LangGraph and SQL
- Proficiency with CI/CD (GitActions), testing and observability
- Experience designing for data privacy, security and access controls
- Familiarity with web scraping and proxy management
- A clear point of view on LLM model trade-offs
Responsibilities
- Partner with DnA teammates, software engineers and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact, AI-enabled solutions
- Create AI capabilities into internal tools, customer-facing products and operational workflows
- Implement secure and compliant AI systems that align with company policies and responsible AI principles
- Architect, build and productionalize AI and machine learning solutions including generative AI, NLP and predictive modeling
- Develop modularized/templatized code structures
- Mentor early career data scientists and AI engineers
- Evaluate multiple LLM providers to determine best fit for use cases
- Establish monitoring and feedback loops for continuous improvement
