Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of one year industry experience in a Software Engineering position
- Experience with Node.js and Javascript
- Familiarity with Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Redis
- Experience with Sns/Sqs, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD
- Familiarity with writing unit tests and test-driven development frameworks
- Basic understanding of distributed systems fundamentals
- Experience using collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitHub
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the team's domain and technology stack
- Handle small-to-medium features with support from more senior engineers
- Write code adhering to established coding standards and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with team members to implement solutions
- Focus on building reliable and maintainable software components
- Utilise version control systems
- Participate in team meetings and sprint ceremonies
- Engage in learning activities
- Troubleshoot and debug issues
- Participate in on-call duties
