Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer in large-scale cloud or application development environments.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with an industry-recognized in-memory datastore (Valkey or Redis).
- 1+ years of experience building cloud-based control-plane software.
- Strong ability to architect and design systems using back-end Web technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to evolve complex solutions to meet business needs.
- Experience working with a large codebase on a cross-functional team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering (preferred).
- Familiarity with self-hosting core infrastructure (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior engineer on the Storage platforms team.
- Set technical direction for storage infrastructure.
- Work closely with application engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Own the full development process from understanding requirements to shipping solutions.
- Ship high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions with urgency.
- Suggest and drive initiatives for in-memory storage solutions.
- Improve system resiliency, high-availability, and cost management.
- Scale through mentorship and effective design, documentation, and code review.
