Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Master's or higher preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
- Experience managing large, complex, SaaS or cloud-native engineering organizations.
- Demonstrated track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in agile methodologies, DevOps, and cloud architecture.
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Proven experience with SaaS platforms, managing scalability, reliability, and performance.
- AI/ML experience: ability to build and scale machine learning or generative AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the technology strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of the engineering lifecycle, from product development, deployment, operations, and maintenance.
- Provide visionary leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
- Lead, recruit, develop, and retain high-performing engineering teams.
- Ensure rigorous adoption of software engineering best practices (CI/CD, agile methodologies, observability, security, resilience).
- Own the transition from AI-assisted to AI-native development practices.
- Collaborate closely with product management, technical operations, customer success and sales to define product roadmaps.
- Manage engineering budgets, resource forecasting, and vendor/partner relationships.
