Requirements
- Strong experience as Senior PHP Developer for 8+ years
- Deep expertise with Laravel framework (preferably 9+) and strong knowledge of Laravel 11–13 ecosystem
- Proven experience in legacy system migration / modernization projects
- Strong understanding of web security principles (OWASP, authentication, authorization, encryption, etc.)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Solid knowledge of database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Experience with performance optimization and debugging complex systems
- Ability to work independently on complex technical challenges
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above
Responsibilities
- Upgrading and modernizing legacy PHP applications to latest Laravel versions (11–13).
- Designing and implementing secure backend architectures following modern security standards.
- Refactoring and optimizing existing codebases for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in existing applications.
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Performing code reviews and enforce best practices across the backend team.
- Supporting integration of third-party services and APIs.
- Ensuring smooth migration with minimal downtime and risk.
