Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive responsibility with data management
- 4+ years of experience with data governance management
- Demonstrated knowledge of metadata management, data quality, and data stewardship
- Experience with data cataloging and data lineage
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Experience implementing and managing an organizational data governance program
- Experience developing policies, procedures, and frameworks for data quality and integrity
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of the data governance operating model
- Manage data and change requests across the organization
- Implement and maintain data governance policies and data quality standards
- Develop and oversee data stewardship processes
- Collaborate to define policies and ensure regulatory/organizational compliance
- Provide training and support on data governance and data management protocols
- Build data governance methodologies for data privacy and protection
- Act as a liaison across departments to define cross-system requirements
- Support enterprise-wide efforts to align metadata and data lineage
