- 5+ years of clinical practice beyond residency/fellowship; 5+ years experience in managed care or clinical strategy
Requirements
- Completed US-based residency program.
- Board certification as an MD or DO.
- Current unrestricted state license to practice medicine.
- 5+ years of clinical practice in Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery, Pain Medicine, or PM&R.
- 5+ years experience in managed care or clinical strategy at a health plan or healthtech firm.
- Experience as a lead thinker/consulting partner designing clinical programs.
- Demonstrated success in building client influence and partnership.
- Executive presence with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the vision and evolution of clinical and digital care management offerings.
- Utilize market data, consumer research, and patient analytics to spearhead new clinical delivery approaches.
- Provide physician leadership in the creation of comprehensive research packages.
- Cultivate external partnerships and vendor relationships.
- Provide subject matter expertise in Specialty Rx program design and strategy.
- Support the Growth team by traveling as a clinical expert for client meetings.
- Build and expand client relationships with Growth and Client Experience teams.
- Participate in strategic planning for clinical and digital care management.
- Monitor performance of launched clinical programs and support continuous improvement.
