Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
- 5+ years leading engineering teams as Director, Head of Engineering, or VP.
- Proven record of building and launching 0-1 products.
- Expertise in system design and distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS).
- Experience establishing engineering culture and standards.
- Strong strategic planning and tactical execution skills.
- Experience managing hybrid engineering teams (contract and in-house).
- Experience in SaaS, AI/ML, or regulated environments preferred.
- Prior experience scaling teams from early-stage to growth-stage preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the engineering strategy and technical roadmap.
- Lead system architecture decisions for scalability and resilience.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, including coding and architecture.
- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and security.
- Lead full product lifecycle execution from ideation through launch.
- Drive delivery velocity and prioritization across teams.
- Oversee DevOps, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Build, scale, and mentor high-impact engineering teams.
- Recruit top talent and develop performance standards.
- Partner with executive teams to align technical initiatives with business goals.
