Requirements
- Strong experience with email systems and protocols (Postfix, Haraka, Dovecot, Cyrus, SMTP, IMAP).
- Proficiency in Linux server administration.
- Experience with DNS management, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC configuration.
- Knowledge of email deliverability strategies, reputation monitoring, and anti-spam measures.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
- Programming/scripting skills in Python.
- Understanding of database management systems (PostgreSQL).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain email server infrastructure (Postfix, Haraka).
- Manage email protocols such as SMTP, IMAP, and POP3 to ensure seamless operation.
- Implement and optimize email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Support the Dev team with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot email deliverability issues, resolving reputation or bounce problems.
- Ensure the email infrastructure meets security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
- Automate routine maintenance tasks to improve efficiency and system reliability.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and propose improvements to our email architecture.
