Requirements

  • Completed degree with a focus on marketing, communications, media, or digital business
  • Solid practical experience in SEA, paid search, or performance marketing
  • Confident handling of Google Ads, ChatGPT Paid, and ideally Microsoft Advertising
  • Experience in keyword research, campaign setup, ad copywriting, and conversion-oriented landing page optimization
  • Good knowledge of web analytics, KPI management, and A/B testing
  • Understanding of tracking, tagging, and performance measurement
  • Interest in AI-supported marketing tools and their productive use
  • Basic knowledge or strong willingness to learn AEO and GEO
  • German and English language skills at C2 level required
  • Initial experience working with agencies
  • Analytical thinking and a structured, data-driven working approach
  • Ability to translate performance data into concrete actions
  • Carefulness in reporting, testing, and quality assurance
  • Strong results orientation with a focus on leads, conversions, and efficiency
  • Self-initiative and a strong hands-on mentality

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualization, planning, execution, and continuous optimization of SEA and AI-paid campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, ChatGPT Paid)
  • Management of various campaign formats such as search, display, and video ads
  • Conducting in-depth keyword research and competitive analyses to identify relevant search intentions
  • Creation and optimization of ad copy as well as landing pages to increase conversion rates
  • Monitoring and analysis of campaign performance based on relevant KPIs
  • Conducting A/B tests to optimize ads, targeting, and landing pages
  • Creation of regular performance reports including actionable recommendations
  • Implementation of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
  • Evaluation and optimization of campaign and content visibility in AI-based search and answer systems
  • Close collaboration with external SEA agencies, AI search agencies, and platform consultants (e.g. Google, Microsoft)
