Requirements
- Experienced systems or infrastructure engineer
- Hero level Linux skills
- Hands on experience setting up firewalls and load balancers
- No stranger to networking and architecture
- Able to independently manage, troubleshoot, and improve systems performance
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high initiative and flexibility to adapt
- Prepared to cover on call duties
- Open to occasional travel and enjoy working in a distributed, self-directed team
Responsibilities
- Ensure uptime and performance of blockchain network infrastructure
- Own routine and emergency maintenance including updates and patches
- Monitor systems proactively and respond quickly to alerts or incidents
- Investigate and mitigate outages or downtime with urgency
- Design and improve network architecture and workflows
- Configure and maintain network hardware, bare metal servers, and firewalls
- Set up and maintain load balancers and secure networking practices
- Continuously develop operational processes and documentation
