Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with a focus on Salesforce
  • A strong grasp of multiple systems in our landscape (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, MuleSoft) and their interdependencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for a global, asynchronous team.
  • Strong grasp of QA methodologies and the SDLC in an Agile environment, and can confidently execute and maintain test plans for cross-system workflows (covering functional and non-functional concepts).
  • Understanding of test automation frameworks & motivation to learn them
  • Understanding of Salesforce and NetSuite data models well enough to create effective test data and validate complex data transformations.
  • Accountability, curiosity, and balance in risk-based decision-making, and actively seeks to improve team processes.
  • Strategic test planning for maintaining an automation test suite vs. manual regression tests.
  • AI utilization in test case creation and documentation.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Holding certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder is a huge plus.
  • Deep Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience navigating and testing core Salesforce features like Flows, Validation Rules, Custom Objects, Permission Sets, and Profiles.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Tools: Experience using tools like Salesforce Inspector or the Developer Console to troubleshoot data and verify backend changes during manual testing.
  • Cloud-Specific Experience: Previous experience testing within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Salesforce CPQ.
  • Release Management Awareness: An understanding of Salesforce’s tri-annual release cycle (Spring, Summer, Winter) and how to regression test against forced platform updates.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL and/or SOQL, creating reports in Salesforce, utilizing data import tools and, Postman, JavaScript
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks (Testim), to test Salesforce, NetSuite and MuleSoft at the corresponding UI and API layers.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, we will accept equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Executing manual tests and meticulously documenting clear, comprehensive test cases.
  • Perform end-to-end testing for integration features and modules, and proactively identifying gaps in test coverage for critical business workflows (e.g., Lead-to-Cash).
  • Creating, maintaining, and scaling robust automated test suites for both UI and API layers to drive automation efficiency.
  • Documenting exceptionally clear, detailed bug reports, test plans, and hand-offs to ensure that work continues smoothly while you are offline.
  • Analyzing business processes, identifying the root causes of defects in integration flows, and collaborating with developers to resolve them.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams (developers, BAs, system admins) during your overlapping hours while being mentored by more senior team members.
  • Supporting our testing pipelines to ensure quality checks are seamlessly integrated into our processes, and contributing to requirement refinement
  • Testing with the customer user flow in mind and providing feedback to Business Analysts and Developers for improvements.
