Requirements
- 5-7+ years experience, including Power Platform development, and consulting contexts.
- Takes responsibility for a team's technical delivery, regardless of personally performing the technical work
- Naturally identifies gaps and coaches Project Team members without being asked
- Comfortable delegating tasks and can do so appropriately
- Communicates effectively when technical activities or needs evolve on a project
- Understands risk and can effectively identify and escalate risk
- Demonstrated ability to hold a vision and advocate for the types of work and approaches to work that a team or technical area should be or wants to be doing
- Demonstrated ability to generate and communicate opinions to management on the staffing, staff development, technical resources, and other factors needed for a team or technical area to succeed
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Extensive skills in identifying and assessing a variety of business contexts, researching and determining solutions to problems, providing technical recommendations, and other business analysis skills
- In-depth functional knowledge and technical expertise in the Power Platform, including Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power Virtual Agents
- Confidently proficient in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power Virtual Agents
- Experience with SQL
- Proven technical proficiency within PL-600 - Power Solution Architect Expert
- Proven technical proficiency within PL-200 - Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
Responsibilities
- Be a strategic and technical leader in Power Platform.
- Define and manage technical strategy on Power Platform projects and effectively communicate that strategy to leadership and Project Teams
- Possess passion of knowledge of the breadth and depth of the ever-evolving Power Platform ecosystem, and deploys that deep understanding in challenging thought work with Clients
- Facilitate cross-area, integrated project strategies and executions with other teams, e.g., cloud engineering, modern workplace, development, security and compliance teams
- Champion Power Platform's citizen developer culture by fluently connecting the division's Power Platform work with IT transformation and organizational change management factors and teams
- Identify gaps and proactively coach division and Project Team members to keep our Power Platform approaches current and effective
- Collaborate and share knowledge across divisions of Planet Technology to deepen our practice in this area
- Meets with Clients in discovery, planning/design, and training/enablement contexts
- Can perform as well as facilitate others in the design, development, and implementation of solutions
- Produces clear and accurate documentation
