Requirements
- 4–7 years in private equity, investment banking, transaction services, or corporate development at a sponsor-backed company
- Demonstrated experience with complex transaction modeling and financial diligence
- Advanced Excel modeling: three-statement, LBO, accretion/dilution, sources & uses
- Strong grasp of GAAP
- Strong grasp of adjusted EBITDA methodology
- Strong grasp of quality-of-earnings concepts
- Excellent written communication; able to translate analysis into executive-ready
- Willingness to work overlapping US Eastern hours during active transaction phases
- CFA preferred
- Exposure to B2B SaaS or data services targets (Preferred)
- Prior experience supporting US-based sponsors or sponsor-backed corporates (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Build and own valuation models including DCF, comparable company, precedent transactions, and LBO scenarios
- Develop combined-entity P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow projections with appropriate normalization adjustments
- Manage financial diligence workstreams, coordinate with external advisors, and synthesize findings
- Partner with FP&A team on combined-entity P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections
- Normalize EBITDA, identify one-time vs. recurring items, analyze working capital, and validate management adjustments
- Model financing scenarios under various deal cases for capital structure analysis
- Prepare materials for senior leadership review on strategic opportunities
- Partner with FP&A team on integration performance tracking and reporting post-close
- Support financing & stakeholder reporting requirements
