Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
- Solid experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka, Spark or similar)
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Control-M or similar)
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, QuickSight, or similar
- Intermediate to advanced English skills
- Experience designing or working with Data Lake, Lakehouse (e.g., Delta Lake), and Data Warehouse architectures is a strong plus
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools (Jenkins, Datadog or similar) is a plus
- Background in digital transformation and data-driven culture initiatives is highly valued
Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring the data team while managing delivery across architecture, engineering, and governance initiatives
- Evolving and maintaining scalable data architectures (Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse), ensuring performance, security, and reliability
- Defining standards, best practices, and processes for data ingestion, transformation, and consumption
- Overseeing the development and optimization of batch and real-time data pipelines
- Ensuring data integrity, quality, traceability, and compliance across all systems
- Planning and delivering strategic data projects in alignment with business goals
- Supporting cloud and hybrid data platform evolution and modernization initiatives
- Translating business needs into data-driven solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Implementing and strengthening data governance, security, and compliance practices
- Managing team performance metrics, delivery capacity, and backlog prioritization
