Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in cloud or virtual infrastructure deployment, configuration, and management.
  • Strong experience architecting and operating multi-cloud or hybrid environments at scale.
  • Proven track record of leading large data center migrations to public cloud platforms.
  • Deep expertise in highly available, multi-region architectures with disaster recovery and failover design.
  • Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (SAA-C03) certification.
  • Strong understanding of hosting infrastructure components such as firewalls, server hardware, and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with telecom and hosting technologies, including IP, MPLS, and VoIP.
  • Solid experience with ITIL-based operational processes and enterprise hosting environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Linux systems and their integration in enterprise environments.
  • Experience working in complex, high-availability infrastructure environments.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to lead troubleshooting and problem resolution in critical situations.
  • Advanced cloud certifications (AWS Professional, Azure Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Architect) are a strong plus.
  • Additional certifications in RedHat, Microsoft, or NetApp are beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of public cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments.
  • Define, implement, and enforce enterprise-grade standards for cloud infrastructure automation and operational excellence.
  • Drive large-scale, zero-downtime maintenance activities across hybrid and multi-region environments.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and develop automation and self-healing mechanisms to improve system reliability.
  • Lead cloud account takeover initiatives, ensuring alignment with well-architected frameworks and internal standards.
  • Optimize monitoring systems to reduce alert fatigue and ensure actionable, high-quality operational signals.
  • Provide advanced engineering support and complex troubleshooting for customer and internal cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on the deployment and evolution of customer and internal infrastructure solutions.
  • Lead root cause analysis for major incidents and implement preventative and corrective actions.
  • Ensure technical governance, high-quality documentation, and adherence to operational best practices.
  • Present technical designs, architectural improvements, and service enhancements to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent while contributing to standards and best practices across teams.
