Requirements
- Professional experience in International student and scholar services (ISSS)
- Professional experience in Employment-based immigration or global mobility
- Professional experience in University international offices
- Professional experience in Immigration case management or visa processing
- Practical knowledge of processes related to Student visas (e.g., F-1, J-1)
- Practical knowledge of processes related to Scholar programs
- Practical knowledge of processes related to Employment visas (e.g., H-1B, O-1, TN, E-3) or similar immigration categories
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex workflows
- Experience documenting processes or procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working with immigration or international education software platforms (e.g., Sunapsis, Terra Dotta ISSS, case management systems, or similar tools)
- Interest in product development, software quality, and user experience
Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of product features and workflows.
- Conduct full validation to ensure product functionality aligns with real-world immigration and international services processes.
- Identify, reproduce, and document defects with clear bug reports and reproduction steps.
- Assist with the development and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new and existing functionality.
- Document test execution and results in test management platforms such as TestRail or similar tools.
- Collaborate with product managers to ensure user stories accurately reflect domain workflows and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with developers and QA engineers to clarify requirements, hand off testing tasks, and validate solutions.
- Provide insights from real-world practice to help improve product usability and workflow design.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing strategies, documentation, and QA workflows.
- Contribute to improving internal documentation and product understanding across teams.
