Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or event coordination, ideally in a B2B or tech environment.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end events, including planning, execution, and post-event reporting.
- Experience managing or supporting event budgets with strong attention to ROI and cost efficiency.
- Ability to define KPIs and translate event activity into measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple vendors, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging executives, colleagues, and prospects.
- Comfort with CRM tools such as HubSpot and familiarity with AI tools to enhance productivity and workflows.
- Willingness to travel 30-50% across North America (and occasionally internationally as needed).
- Calm, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in live event environments.
Responsibilities
- Research, evaluate, and select industry events, trade shows, and conferences aligned with target audiences and business goals.
- Build and maintain a 12-month events calendar, prioritizing opportunities based on ROI and strategic relevance.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, organizers, and venues, including sponsorships, booth space, and speaking opportunities.
- Manage end-to-end event execution, including logistics, booth setup, swag, travel coordination, and on-site operations.
- Act as the on-site lead during events, ensuring smooth execution, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining brand presence.
- Partner with sales teams to drive pre-event outreach, schedule meetings, and support lead capture and qualification.
- Run pre- and post-event campaigns with marketing to maximize attendance, engagement, and pipeline impact.
- Own event budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, ensuring strong ROI and financial discipline.
- Define KPIs and deliver post-event reporting to evaluate success and identify improvement opportunities.
