Requirements
- Strong communication & relationship management skills (customer-first mindset)
- Background in marketing agency work or familiarity with Local SEO concepts (GBP, citations, rankings, etc.)
- Sales-oriented, able to upsell services naturally and build long-term client value
- Organized, detail-oriented, with ability to manage dozens of accounts efficiently
- Previous experience in account management, business development, or customer success is a big plus
Responsibilities
- Onboard new clients: gather information, explain the process, set expectations
- Manage client relationships, be the primary point of contact for questions, updates, and strategy discussions
- Prepare & present reports: weekly & monthly performance updates (traffic, rankings, leads)
- Upsell & cross-sell: identify opportunities to offer clients additional services (SEO upgrades, ads, content, etc.)
- Ensure retention & satisfaction: anticipate client needs, solve issues proactively, and keep churn low
- Coordinate internally: work with the SEO/project management team to deliver on client needs
