Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience working with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, including APIs, databases, messaging systems, and related failure modes.
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and multi-agent workflows (e.g., Claude, Codex, Cursor, or equivalent systems).
- Strong verification mindset, with experience building testing frameworks, evaluation systems, or quality assurance mechanisms.
- Exposure to DevSecOps concepts such as SBOMs, SCA, vulnerability management, and software supply chain security is highly valued.
- Product-oriented engineering mindset focused on delivering customer outcomes rather than isolated technical tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguity and design scalable solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially in cross-functional engineering environments.
- Curiosity and willingness to explore emerging AI-native software development practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable, high-performance features by orchestrating long-running, multi-agent development workflows across planning, coding, testing, and review stages.
- Own end-to-end feature delivery, including requirements clarification, system design, implementation, deployment, and operational support.
- Focus on verification and oversight of agent-generated outputs, building robust evaluation, testing, and review mechanisms to ensure reliability and quality.
- Develop and maintain internal tooling, guardrails, and workflows that improve how engineering teams collaborate with AI agents.
- Contribute to software supply chain security practices by ensuring secure, observable, and well-tested code across all deliverables.
- Partner with Product, UX, and engineering teams to translate customer needs into reliable, shippable technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions while mentoring and supporting other engineers.
- Help shape internal best practices for agentic-first software development and continuously refine engineering workflows.
