Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial programming experience
- Strong PHP skills (8.0–8.3) with production work in Laravel
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with Redis
- Comfort with Git and Docker in day-to-day workflows
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles
- Ability to assess task complexity, decompose work, and prioritize effectively
- A mature, self-driven mindset and the ability to take responsibility for tasks and whole features end to end
- Fluent Ukrainian or Russian
Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve the large codebase that powers our billing and payments service
- Integrate with external billing-related services and connect new payment gateways
- Solve production payment issues and keep the system reliable and secure
- Design and review software architecture for new payments features
- Implement hypotheses and run experiments to move core business metrics
- Write tests and contribute to a well-covered, high-quality codebase
- Analyze relevant metrics to inform decisions and validate experiment outcomes
