Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or in a similar data warehouse-related role
- Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage or alternatively Informatica
- Experience working with Oracle Database and data modeling
- Ability to work independently across the full lifecycle – from concept to production deployment
- Builder mindset – proactive, solution-oriented, with strong ownership
- German language proficiency at minimum B2/C1 level (mandatory)
- Experience with Automic or other orchestration tools (Nice-to-have)
- Background in banking or financial services (Nice-to-have)
- Experience in knowledge transfer and mentoring (Nice-to-have)
Responsibilities
- Building a new Data Mart from scratch, including data structure design, integration layers, and solutions supporting business goals
- Developing and maintaining ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) using tools such as IBM DataStage or similar enterprise technologies
- Designing data models and optimizing data warehouse architecture based on Oracle Database
- Collaborating with an international project team and business stakeholders in German
- Taking an expert role in the initial phase of the project and supporting knowledge transfer to the client’s internal team
- Contributing to best practices, development standards, and the future growth of the data environment
