- 6+ years of commercial experience with a heavy focus on backend systems and complex data processing
- Data-heavy expertise: Proven experience in building systems that handle large, diverse datasets and complex integrations
- Technical Mastery: Proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and PostgreSQL
- Architectural Excellence: Strong background in asynchronous system architecture and a sharp eye for good design patterns
- Startup Mindset: High ownership and the ability to navigate ambiguity
- Based in Poland with flexibility for partial US time zone overlap
Responsibilities
- Architect Data Pipelines: Design and own the systems responsible for processing massive datasets from 130+ different carriers, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Master Data Complexity: Build robust logic to handle various data configurations, ensuring accuracy in our crucial commission and platform features
- Ensure Data Quality: Implement advanced patterns and monitoring to identify and resolve data quality issues before they impact the business
- Scale Asynchronous Systems: Optimize our event-driven architecture to ensure seamless, real-time data processing at scale
- Cross-Functional Ownership: Collaborate with Finance and Business teams to translate complex data requirements into scalable technical solutions
