Requirements
- 3 + years of BIM Electrical modelling experience
- Proficient in Revit
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in Navisworks
- Proficient in Revizto
- Experience with LOD 500
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is highly regarded
- Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field beneficial but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work and achieve deadlines
Responsibilities
- Develop accurate Electrical BIM models (Lighting, Power, Cable Tray, ELV, Data, Comms, Lightning Protection, Earthing, and fabrication/installation drawings) as per LOD and BEP requirements
- Produce coordinated 2D/3D drawings, schematics, and schedules with consistent naming and parameters
- Update models and drawings based on engineer markups, RFIs, and client feedback
- Coordinate with MEP, Structural, and Architectural teams to detect and resolve clashes using Navisworks, BIM 360, ACC, or Revizto
- Create, modify, and maintain Electrical Revit families with correct parameters and classification
- Follow BEP and QA/QC standards for modeling, documentation, and file structure
- Collaborate with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and Site teams, attending coordination meetings
- Manage model versions, publishing, and file naming within the CDE (ACC / BIM 360)
- Perform model audits to eliminate warnings, optimize performance, and maintain correct coordinates
