Requirements
- Experience explaining technical processes in simple terms
- Experience in writing SQL statements from scratch
- Experience with authoring SQL queries that pull from multiple tables
- Basic to intermediate understanding of structured data
- Basic to intermediate understanding of relational data structures (databases)
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Basic to intermediate understanding of delimited data files, structured data files, and file transport methods
- Demonstrable organizational and time management skills
- Some knowledge of the Fire/EMS industry (nice to have)
- Basic to intermediate understanding of GIS components (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with client and implementation team to identify data migration requirements
- Analyze limitations/gaps between legacy client systems and First Due data fields
- Import legacy data provided by clients from a variety of sources (SQL backup files, CSV spreadsheets, TXT files, XML files)
- Restore SQL backup databases to pull legacy data from tables
- Maintain communication with all stakeholders internal and external
- Serve as a technical resource internally and with clients
- Provide guidance to the database team
