Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis or Technical Business Analyst roles within Agile environments
  • Strong experience owning user stories, backlog refinement, and defining detailed acceptance criteria
  • Proven experience supporting UAT, release readiness, and production go/no-go decision processes
  • Hands-on experience with configuration-driven systems, including parameters, mappings, and feature flags
  • Advanced proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management, traceability, and agile delivery workflows
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience aligning cross-functional stakeholders
  • 4+ years of additional experience in Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst roles preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in insurance, mortgage, or financial services environments preferred
  • Experience with web-based applications and tools such as Helpjuice, ServiceNow, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end user story creation, including defining scope, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and success measures aligned with product requirements
  • Translate business features into sprint-ready user stories while ensuring alignment with product management priorities
  • Lead backlog refinement sessions, resolve ambiguities, and align cross-functional teams before sprint commitment
  • Maintain story readiness and documentation standards in Azure DevOps as the system of record for backlog management
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect triage, validation, and go/no-go release readiness decisions
  • Define and validate system configurations, mappings, feature flags, and operational logic for scalable solutions
  • Provide Tier 2 production support, troubleshooting incidents related to requirements or configuration gaps
  • Participate in release planning, documentation, and operational readiness activities to ensure successful deployments
  • Contribute to system modernization efforts, including legacy platform migrations and process improvements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in 24/7 production support oversight when required
