Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience in insurance (P&C and personal lines experience is a plus)
- 3-5 years of professional experience in software development, quality assurance, technical product management, insurance rating engine development, or similar
- Experience in Python, SQL, R or other programming language
- A degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, similar study, or relevant experience
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and challenge existing processes
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to translate concepts between technical and business language
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tooling which enables business users to verify the calculations and behavior of our insurance products
- Help roll out and document standardized testing, peer review, and governance workflows
- Consult on the design of test data, ensuring key scenarios are represented and edge cases are covered
- Serve as a subject matter expert on complex rating systems, platform differences, and policy data
