Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial QA experience across mobile (iOS and Android)
- 5+ years of commercial QA experience across web
- 5+ years of commercial QA experience across API testing
- Proven ability to design and build automation frameworks
- Proven ability to significantly improve existing automation frameworks
- Experience integrating automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience testing GraphQL APIs
- Strong experience testing REST APIs
- Experience with API contract validation
- Experience with API error handling
- Experience with API data integrity
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans across iOS and Android mobile apps, web platforms, and GraphQL and REST APIs
- Build and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Reproduce bugs quickly, document them clearly, and work directly with engineers to unblock resolution of production issues
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers early in the delivery cycle to define acceptance criteria and flag testability concerns
- Make judgment calls on test strategy - what to automate, what to test manually, and what risk is acceptable ahead of a release
- Validate complex scenarios: payment flows across regions and devices, API contract integrity, offline behaviour, deep links, push notifications, and third-party integrations
- Own test coverage for payment journeys across iOS and Android, including regional variation, failure modes, and edge cases
- Assess current state of regression coverage and build out a sustainable automation strategy
- Design and maintain automated test suites for GraphQL and REST APIs, covering happy paths, error handling, data integrity, and third-party integration behaviour
- Contribute to how the team defines done - acceptance criteria, risk visibility reporting, and standards for releases
