Requirements
- Strong experience with Snowflake data warehousing
- Hands-on experience with SSIS (ETL development and support)
- Advanced SQL (complex queries, CTEs, stored procedures)
- Experience with data modelling and ETL pipeline design
- Knowledge of data migration (SQL Server → Snowflake)
- Experience with Python for data engineering / automation
- Familiarity with AWS S3 and cloud-based data environments
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise data models and ETL pipelines in Snowflake
- Build and maintain end-to-end data ingestion and transformation workflows
- Develop and enhance SSIS packages for data integration
- Automate data processes using Snowflake tasks, streams, and Snowpipe
- Implement data transformation logic using SQL and stored procedures
- Optimise query performance, storage, and compute usage in Snowflake
- Support data migration from SQL Server to Snowflake
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver data solutions
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve data warehouse and pipeline issues
