Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java (17+)
- Experience with streaming and batch processing frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Airflow)
- Solid SQL knowledge
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP environments
- Strong understanding of distributed systems
- Strong understanding of data modeling
- Strong understanding of API design
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to drive technical discussions and make informed architectural decisions
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services for data ingestion and transformation
- Implement orchestration and automation of data pipelines (streaming and batch)
- Develop REST/gRPC APIs for unified access to enriched datasets
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration
- Ensure high standards for security, performance, and reliability
