Requirements
- 5+ years building and operating production software systems, including on-call/reliability ownership
- Strong experience with GCP (IAM, networking basics, compute/container workloads, logging/monitoring, secrets)
- Strong experience managing GitHub repos and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Hands-on experience building LLM tool integrations and/or agentic workflows (tool calling, routing, memory, evaluation, guardrails)
- Ability to work effectively with research teams; familiarity with bioinformatics/computational biology workflows
- Strong programming skills (Python required; TypeScript/Go a plus), API design, distributed systems fundamentals
- Strong English skills (C1 level - daily communication with international stakeholders)
- Location in Poland
Responsibilities
- Engineer a production-grade agent runtime and multi-agent orchestration layer.
- Implement standardized tool/context integrations via Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Facilitate federated collaboration via Agent-to-Agent (A2A/Agent2Agent) patterns.
- Work with AI Scientists and Bioinformatics users to transform research workflows into agent-driven systems.
- Maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment and GitHub engineering foundations.
- Deliver reusable agent templates, MCP servers, orchestration graphs, and integrations.
- Ensure secure, reliable, and auditable agentic AI capabilities.
- Own MCP Engineering (Context + Tooling Integration).
- Manage Agent Runtime & Tool Execution.
- Oversee Orchestration & Multi-Agent Systems.
- Support Agent2Agent (A2A) / Federated Agent Collaboration.
- Enable Bioinformatics & R&D.
- Manage GCP Platform Ownership (Reliability + Security).
- Handle GitHub & Engineering Operations.
