Job Details

6+ years of experience in backend or full stack development
Strong experience with PHP (Laravel framework required)
Experience with React.js
Strong experience with MySQL database design and optimization
Experience working within AWS environments
Strong experience integrating external APIs (REST required)
Experience working in fintech, lending, payments, or financial platforms (required)
Strong understanding of secure coding practices
Strong understanding of authentication & authorization models
Strong understanding of API-driven architecture
Strong understanding of webhooks & async processing
Ability to debug complex cross-system issues
Experience working in structured Jira-based sprint environments
English B2+ minimum

Design and build scalable backend services using PHP (Laravel)
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
Implement complex business logic related to loan origination workflows, offer presentation logic, funding and settlement flows, payments and money movement, and role-based permissions
Integrate with third-party APIs (lenders, payment processors, KYC providers, credit bureaus, etc.)
Design clean database architecture in MySQL and write optimized queries
Implement secure authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth, role-based access)
Handle asynchronous processes, webhooks, queues, and background jobs
Write unit and integration tests for backend services
Support development in React.js, building and maintaining API-connected UI components
Work within AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.)
Build and maintain systems for sensitive PII, loan calculations, funding disbursement, and ACH/card payment processing logic
