Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or distributed systems development
- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages, ideally Python and/or Go
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing practices
- Experience designing and developing scalable web services and backend architectures
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and high-load system design principles
- Ability to work with a high level of rigor, ownership, and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in fast-evolving technical environments
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering AI infrastructure and inference systems
- Develop and optimize distributed systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and low-latency execution
- Contribute to the evolution of platform architecture, ensuring scalability for growing workloads and enterprise use cases
- Collaborate with infrastructure, observability, billing, and AI research teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Improve system stability, uptime, and operational excellence across production environments
- Participate in the development of APIs and web services supporting platform functionality and external integrations
- Apply CI/CD practices, automated testing, and rigorous engineering standards to ensure code quality
- Continuously enhance system capabilities, including performance tuning and infrastructure optimizations
