- Exceptional attention to detail
- Clear and concise written communication
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Collaborative mindset when working with cross-functional teams
- Experience with localization tools (e.g., Smartling, Lokalise, Phrase, etc.) - Preferred
- Familiarity with education, workforce development, or technical content - Preferred
- Ability to manage feedback and revisions in a structured workflow - Preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensure learner-facing content resonates with Japanese audiences
- Deliver clear, accurate, and culturally natural translations
- Improve applicant experience and reduce friction in the admissions process
- Strengthen Correlation One’s global reach and brand consistency
- Review and refine English→ Japanese translations for applicant-facing landing page + admissions form copy
- Review and refine English→ Japanese translations for technical training program copy
- Ensure translations are accurate, idiomatic, concise, and consistent with glossary/style guide
- Ensure translations are culturally natural for Japanese users
- Proofread copy, correct grammar and tone
- Flag source-string issues
- Clearly track edits/comments in localization workflow
- Deliver polished copy that feels native rather than translated
