Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field from a top university
- At least 3+ years of experience in financial accounting and controlling
- Audit experience in a top-tier firm (ideally)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Xero) is a plus
- Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese
- Fluent in English
- Spanish is a strong advantage
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of ownership, independence, and accountability
- Excellent communication skills
- Hands-on mindset, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial accounting activities including billing, payments, and monthly closing processes
- Improve and automate invoicing and payment workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Coordinate with external accounting and tax partners, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, especially in Brazil and other LATAM markets
- Support audit readiness and deal preparation by implementing strong financial controls and structured documentation practices
- Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders on accounting and taxation topics
- Support Brazilian payroll and onboarding processes in collaboration with external service providers
- Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting systems, processes, and ERP-related initiatives
