Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 1-2 years of accounting experience is preferred but will consider entry-level candidates
- Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue-related accounting concepts
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data manipulation, etc.)
- Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile revenue and (COGS) transactions in the general ledger
- Process and apply customer payments and investigate discrepancies or unapplied cash
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to revenue and COGS
- Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger and resolve variances
- Support the month-end and quarter-end close process for revenue and related accounts
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for revenue-related transactions
- Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation as needed
- Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and reconciliations to support revenue operations
