- Solid understanding of distributed systems principles
- Comfort with AI-assisted tooling
- Experience running Kubernetes in production environments
- Experience running Ceph in production environments
- Experience dealing with colo facilities and associated vendors
- Experience in or on open source, or other community-based projects
