Requirements
- Production ML experience with deployed ML systems
- Experience handling messy data and graceful failure in ML systems
- Strong ML fundamentals and ability to reason about trade-offs
- Client-facing deployment experience, including calls with non-technical stakeholders
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Proficiency with ML/scientific Python stack (e.g., numpy, scikit-learn)
- Daily use of AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or equivalent)
- Experience in forecasting, time-series, or demand-planning (desirable)
- Familiarity with Python, scikit-learn, MLflow, Docker, GCP (desirable)
- Experience in a small team with wide ownership and context-switching (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Own client launches end-to-end
- Validate client data
- Select appropriate machine learning models
- Run User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Manage model going live
- Monitor performance after deployment
- Join client calls and build relationships
- Understand real-world client needs and operational realities
