- ~1 year of experience managing or mentoring engineers
- Strong technical expertise in Typescript
- Strong technical expertise in React
- Strong technical expertise in Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Remote Config)
- Strong technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform
- Experience in growth-stage or regulated industries (ideally)
- Product-minded, with experience in agile methodologies
- Experience with MVP delivery and iterative development cycles
- Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Passion for building scalable, secure, and compliant solutions
- Healthcare or telehealth experience (ideally)
- Ability to navigate ambiguity
- Ability to lead projects from inception to delivery
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 2-5 full-stack engineers
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management
- Contribute directly to product development
- Review code, design architecture, and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Define team workflows, technical standards, and best practices
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams
- Translate requirements into actionable engineering solutions
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and code quality
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory compliance, and technical innovations
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative team culture
