Requirements

  • 3-4 years in partnerships, channel sales, or business development at a SaaS company
  • Experience building partner programs before
  • Tech-savvy and systems-oriented, thinking automation first
  • Familiarity with partner tooling, CRM workflows, or enablement programs
  • Knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem, ecommerce agency world, or DTC brand landscape
  • Ability to handle the full funnel independently (cold outreach to relationship management)
  • Comfortable demoing product and talking data with technical agency teams (AI, MCP, attribution models)
  • Energized by in-person relationship building (events, dinners, agency visits)
  • Clear communication and fast loop closing

Responsibilities

  • Partner enablement and training, including understanding Polar's value prop, product demos, and qualified brand referrals
  • Create the "Polar operating system" for partners
  • Drive full-funnel partner pipeline from identification through activation to revenue
  • Push partner referral rates significantly higher
  • Manage partner economics and deal structure, including 20% discount model, master agency accounts, and bi-directional lead sharing
  • Utilize AI and MCP as a partnership differentiator, including confident demos and positioning to clients
  • Build in-person relationships at Shopify events, industry conferences, and agency visits
  • Implement tech-enabled scale by building automated workflows, partner nurture sequences, and systems for 100+ partner relationships
